CRC Potchefstroom continued to flourish and in 2017, an overflow facility with a new parents room was secured at The Roots Lifestyle Centre to accommodate the ever-expanding congregation. In February 2017, Pastors Louis and Lizna hosted the visionary leader of CRC International, Pastor At Boshoff for the church’s first Harvest event at Senwes Park Cricket Stadium and saw 2500 in attendance and 878 people gave their lives to Jesus!

2018 was another exciting year for the church! In January 2018, CRC Klerksdorp was planted by Pastors Louis and Lizna Holtzhausen, in Flamwood. The well known Servaas gymnasium in Klerksdorp was renovated in December 2017 into a beautiful church auditorium with a parents room, counselling hall, offices and two children’s church facilities. The many faithful givers of CRC Potchefstroom stood together again and secured another 2 hectares of land in Potchefstroom, bringing the total to 4 hectares, debt-free, to complete the first phase of the building project.

In December 2018, the church’s dream to have its own facilities became a reality as a temporary tent structure was erected at Dagbreek Estates! CRC Potchefstroom had their first service in this state-of-the-art church that seats 1500 people and boasts sophisticated sound, lights and media equipment, a parents room, counselling hall and two children’s church facilities. To this day, the church continues to experience rapid growth as many people continue to make CRC Potchefstroom their spiritual home on a weekly basis. 

It is the dream of CRC Potchefstroom to be an oasis of life in the City of Potchefstroom where the hurting, the depressed, the sick, the frustrated and the confused can find love, acceptance, help, hope, healing, forgiveness, guidance and encouragement. People from all walks of life have made CRC their spiritual home and found not merely a church, but joined a family. CRC is not only a haven to reach out to the needy through innovative and ground-breaking community projects but also cares for the needs of every person in our communities.
